The Public Prosecution indicated that according to Article /9/ of Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 regarding combating rumors and cybercrime, which stipulates that he shall be punished by imprisonment and a fine of no less than /50,000/ fifty thousand dirhams and not more than 100,000/ one hundred. One thousand dirhams, or one of these two penalties, whoever obtains, without permission or permission from the person concerned, a secret number, code, password, or the like related to a website, electronic information system, information network, or information technology means.

The penalty shall be imprisonment for a period of no less than /6/ six months and a fine of no less than 300,000/ three hundred thousand dirhams and not more than 500,000/ five hundred thousand dirhams, or either of these two penalties, if whoever obtained it without permission or permission from the owner of the password Or the code or password or the like to enter, or enable someone else to access the website, electronic information system, information network, or information technology means with the intention of committing a crime.
