“Russian air defense systems shot down a MiG-29 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force in the Slavyansk region of the Donetsk People’s Republic and a Mi-24 helicopter in the Snigirevka region of the Nikolaev region in a day,” he said at a briefing.
Konashenkov added that Russian troops had eliminated nine Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles.
Earlier it became known that Russian fighter aircraft, together with air defense systems, shot down several Ukrainian Su-25 aircraft and eight drones.
