• In the aftermath of the first round of the legislative elections, the Paca region appears, with the North, as a land that can provide many deputies to the RN.

  • Marine Le Pen's party is in the lead in 19 of the region's 40 constituencies, and is optimistic about the outcome of the election.

  • He is betting on both Marine Le Pen's progress in the territory, linked in particular to the collapse of the LRs, but also fairly high Reconquest scores!

The numbers are beyond measure.

While, in France as a whole, the National Rally won third place, with 18.7% of the vote, in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, Marine Le Pen's party played the leading roles, with a presence in 30 of the 40 constituencies in the region, in all the departments, except the Hautes-Alpes.

RN candidates come first in 19 of them, making the Paca region a possible breeding ground for Frontist deputies for this new term.

“This is a historic record, rejoices Franck Allisio, leader of the RN in the Bouches-du-Rhône and candidate in the twelfth district.

We come out on top in 12 ridings out of 16. That had never happened.

And in several constituencies, we are not there to be witnesses.

We have a real chance of winning.

The party thus hopes for a victory in the third constituency, in the northern districts of Marseille, which had sent a certain Stéphane Ravier for a time.

The RN is also eyeing the districts of Gardanne, Arles and Vitrolles.

In the latter, particularly symbolic given the local political history linked to the Mégret, Franck Allisio came out on top with 36.28% of the vote, more than six points ahead of the outgoing deputy LR Eric Diard.

A land of executives

“The Paca region is fully becoming what it had never ceased to be: a land where our ideas are in force.

At the regional level, we explain these results by the fact that we benefit from the campaign of Marine Le Pen which was in unison with what the French thought.

The candidates for the legislative elections in Paca are indeed capitalizing on the good regional dynamic of Marine Le Pen, who came out on top in the second round with 50.48% of the vote.

“In the Var, Marine Le Pen has made great progress”, with an increase of 6 points compared to 2017, recalls the Var RN leader Franck Giletti.

In the Var, the RN is present in the eight constituencies of the department, and in the lead in five of them.

“It is also the fruit of a work of presence in the department, understands Franck Giletti.

In the Var, we took out a lot of executives, like the mayor of Fréjus David Rachline.

Division is all good

The RN also benefits from the debacle of the LRs, as in the fifteenth constituency of Bouches-du-Rhône, where the outgoing LR deputy Bernard Reynès is eliminated in the first round in favor of the RN candidate Romain Baubry.

“The LRs no longer represent a credible alternative, accuses Franck Allisio.

The only question we ask ourselves when we have an elected LR is when he will join Emmanuel Macron.

»

Above all, the division with Reconquest!

appears today as a golden step towards the National Assembly.

"Unlike 2017, we have voice reserves," said Franck Giletti.

In the fourth constituency of Var, Eric Zemmour thus obtained 23.19% of the votes, giving hope to the candidate RN Philippe Lottiaux, qualified for the second round with 24.74%, the possibility of doubling his score.

It remains to be seen whether the voters will move, after having largely shunned the ballot boxes in the first round.
