Medvedev called the decisions made without Russia on the Arctic senseless

He recalled that the seven Arctic states decided to resume the work of the Arctic Council without the participation of Russia.

“You can arrange as many fights as you like and try to solve something without Russia.

But if such decisions are made without taking into account the interests of the largest Arctic power, they make no sense, ”Medvedev wrote in his Telegram.

According to him, Russia is not obliged to follow such decisions.

Earlier, Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov expressed concern about plans to resume the work of the Arctic Council without the participation of Russia, and also warned that decisions taken in this format would be considered illegitimate.
