Following the first round of legislative elections, the presidential majority is not yet certain of obtaining the 289 deputies necessary to constitute an absolute majority.

Whatever happens, Emmanuel Macron will not be able to do without his allies in the coming weeks, starting with Edouard Philippe.

It is enough to exchange with several relatives of the former Prime Minister to make this observation: the result obtained by the presidential majority on Sunday, during the first round of the legislative elections, does the business of Horizons, the party of Edouard Philippe .

Threatened by the Nupes, the union of the left, Emmanuel Macron is not yet sure of obtaining at least 289 deputies and thus constituting an absolute majority in the Assembly.

For the time being, the projections give the macronists between 275 and 310 deputies.

In the coming weeks and months, the former tenant of Matignon could prove to be very valuable for the executive in order to pass the various reforms.
