The court decides that he should undergo psychiatric care.
The social services in the teenager's home municipality have also been involved in the investigation and come to the conclusion that there is a need for care.
The interest in child pornographic images began when the man himself was 10-12 years old and was drawn to peers.
During questioning, he said he stayed at that stage and continued to be interested in children.
He also said he wanted help with the behavior.
In a message to SVT Nyheter Jönköping, the now convicted teenager writes that he does not want to comment on the verdict or the social services' actions: "It sounds like I should try to defend myself, which I do not intend to do as what I have done is indefensible."
