“Today I will sign an agreement on the purchase of 110,000 monkeypox vaccines so that Member States are provided with them, and the first deliveries will begin at the end of June,” RIA Novosti quoted her as saying upon arrival at a meeting of the Council of Ministers of Health in Luxembourg.

She added that 1,400 cases of monkeypox have been identified worldwide so far.
