In the spring of 2020, attention was drawn to the case where several men raped a woman in a town in Hälsingland.

The man who was convicted in the district court for rape was considered to be the organizer of the so-called sex meeting where the crime is said to have been committed.

Reduced sentence in the Court of Appeal

In the district court's judgment, the man was sentenced to eight years in prison, but then had his sentence reduced when the case was tried in the Court of Appeal.

The man has always believed that the incident, which was also filmed, took place in agreement between everyone involved.

The defense is now demanding that the man be released completely, or receive both a reduced sentence and a claim for damages.
