It was in 2016 that the defense employee invited his girlfriend to the protected object where he worked.

After the incident, the Swedish Armed Forces' Personnel Liability Committee decided to dismiss the man.

Both the man and the woman were charged with gross unlawful intrusion - but were acquitted by Blekinge District Court last year.

Following an appeal from the prosecutor, however, a new verdict came in December last year in the Court of Appeal over Skåne and Blekinge.

The man was then sentenced for aiding and abetting unlawful intrusion, a felony, to a suspended sentence.

The judgment of the Court of Appeal was also appealed to the Supreme Court and now the message has come from there.

The Supreme Court does not take up the case - and the Court of Appeal's judgment is therefore upheld.
