State Department: US together with G7 partners working on tougher sanctions against Russia

“We are very actively working on how we can strengthen our sanctions package.

We do this in close coordination with the G7 member countries, ”RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.

Earlier, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said that Washington and its allies' rupture of current economic relations led to the formation of a new G8.

He noted that the economies of the United States, Japan, Germany, Britain, France, Italy and Canada are in decline against the background of anti-Russian sanctions.
