“Our goal is only to keep the region stable and peaceful... Until the regime in Pyongyang changes course, we will continue to apply pressure,” Blinken said.

He stressed that the United States is ready to make adjustments to its military strategy in the Asia-Pacific region in response to North Korea's nuclear tests.

“We are ready to make both short-term and long-term adjustments to our military presence,” Blinken said.

Earlier, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan warned that the US authorities would give a strong response to new North Korean nuclear tests.
