Just appointed Minister for the Ecological Transition, Amélie de Montchalin is in an unfavorable ballot in her constituency of Essonne for the second round of the legislative elections.

On a small sunny square a few meters from the town hall, some residents support the minister.
"I am for Amélie. I met her on the market so we still see her regularly. And then she supports the president and I support the president", affirms this Massicoise at the microphone of Europe 1.
His rival, Jérôme Guedj, acclaimed by the inhabitants
But it is precisely his status as a figure of the macronie that poses a problem for other voters.
"De Montchalin is Macron, that's all", grumbles a resident while another believes that if the left comes first, it will "change Macron's party".

A few meters further, in the café "Les Trois frères Castillo", the name of Amélie de Montchalin is quickly swept away by the regulars.
We prefer his rival, Jérôme Guedj.
"I have been Massicois since 1969. For 25-30 years, Jérôme Guedj has been in Palaiseau, Massy etc ...", argues this resident who salutes the proximity and seniority of the candidate in his territory.
"He is nice, he speaks with everyone, he knows people's situation and he has helped a lot of people", remarks this other Massicois.
The game is therefore far from won for Amélie de Montchalin, just like for Clément Beaune, Minister of European Affairs, also on an unfavorable ballot in Paris.
