According to TASS, Dodon wrote about this in his Telegram.

“Prosecutors served a summons to my wife and invited her to the prosecutor’s office to bring charges against her after she was stopped in the street while taking her children to chess class,” he said.

Dodon noted that this is an unprecedented case in the history of the country, when “the desire to take revenge on a political opponent pushes Maia Sandu, the current president of the country, to attack my wife, my children, mother, close relatives.”

On May 26, a court in Chisinau decided to place former President of Moldova Igor Dodon under house arrest for 30 days.

Dodon himself said that the case against him is a political order of the current head of the republic, Maia Sandu.

According to him, the group of prosecutors and investigators who are working on the case against him is managed by the US Embassy.
