“Thanks to the prompt response, coordinated actions of the forest fire units, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the state fire service and the district administration, the forest fire in the Neryungri district, which threatened the oil depot, was eliminated on June 12 on a total area of ​​160 hectares,” said Andrey Konoplyov, Deputy Minister of Ecology, Nature Management and Forestry of Yakutia .

It is specified that initially the area of ​​natural fire was 25 hectares.
