A massive strike affects the emergency services of the Toulouse University Hospital, employees and unions have been demanding for several weeks an increase in wages, hiring but also the creation of beds.
Faced with this movement, the management of the public hospital, which accommodates more than 50% of the emergency activity of the metropolis and supports two thirds of those regulated by the SAMU, decided to activate the "Plan White” “to meet the public hospital service obligation and ensure the safety of care”.

Like last weekend, starting this Monday at 6 p.m., adult emergencies at Purpan hospital will only receive vital emergencies sent by the SAMU via 15.
For other care, the management of the CHU advises to go to private health establishments, the patient's doctor or the nearest medical care center.
