A sixth term as deputy for Nicolas Dupont-Aignan?

The former ally of Marine Le Pen, Nicolas Dupont-Aignan came first in Essonne ahead of the candidate of the New Popular Ecological and Social Union (Nupes).

The leader of Debout la France won 33.34% of the votes in the first round of the legislative elections in the 8th constituency, where he was therefore running for the sixth time.

Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, deputy for twenty-five years and whose local score in the presidential election (just over 6% in his constituency) had not allowed him to be optimistic, will face in the second round of the legislative elections the representative of the Nupes, Emilie Chazette-Guillet, came second with 30.50% of the vote.
