A video clip documented the sinking of a Sudanese ship in the port of Suakin, resulting in the death of about 16,000 head of livestock.

In the video, the ship sank near the entrance to the port of Suakin, as it was on its way to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

According to Sudanese media, the ship, which bears the name "Al-Badr 1", veered on the berth in the port of Suakin, due to overloading, which resulted in the death of a large number of livestock, amounting to 15,858 heads.
