A dad stabbed for no reason on a cycle path in Haute-Savoie

While riding a bicycle with his 11-year-old son, a father was stabbed on Saturday evening on a bicycle path in Sevrier, Haute-Savoie.

The assault took place around 7 p.m.

An investigation for violence with a weapon has been opened by the public prosecutor of Annecy.

The reasons for this knife attack are not yet known, but according to the first elements communicated by the prosecution, the suspect "was intoxicated".
