Mohammed bin Rashid's global initiatives have attracted more than 2.5 million participants in the One Million Uzbek Coders Initiative, which was launched within the framework of the strategic partnership in government modernization between the UAE and the Republic of Uzbekistan, in a new achievement of Mohammed bin Rashid's global initiatives aimed at promoting efforts to innovate the future, and encouraging young people about The world to achieve leadership, by building their capabilities and empowering them with skills and tools for the future.

The announcement of the new achievement was issued at a ceremony organized by the government of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the capital Tashkent, in the presence of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdullah Aripov, and with the participation of a delegation from the UAE government headed by the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Muhammad Abdullah Al Gergawi.

The One Million Uzbek Coders Initiative, launched in November 2019, is an extension of the "One Million Arab Coders" initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in 2018, as part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Global Initiatives, and aims to: Preparing a new generation of Uzbek youth capable of leading digital transformation and empowering talent and creativity in the field of programming, by providing technical and specialized training, enabling them to keep abreast of developments in computer science and software, and artificial intelligence applications, and accelerating the development of their capabilities to enhance their professional and personal opportunities and meet future requirements, to serve their communities, and support government efforts to achieve digital readiness for the future.

The One Million Uzbek Coders Initiative achieved results that exceeded the targets by registering 2.5 million participants, exceeding the set goal (reaching one million Uzbek programmers).

In addition, 1.2 million participants in the initiative have been graduated from 14 provinces, 6000 trainers have been trained, and more than 370 nano-degree certificates have been awarded.

The Dubai Future Foundation is supervising the "One Million Uzbek Coders" initiative, which falls within the Mohammed bin Rashid global initiatives, and is one of the outcomes of the strategic partnership in government modernization between the UAE and Uzbekistan, and includes four educational tracks: data analysis, website development, and Android application development, Web page development.

The initiative provides internationally accredited training programs and certificates in the fields of programming at all levels, and seeks to contribute to the digital transformation process in Uzbekistan. And leading the digital transformation, leading to making Uzbekistan one of the advanced countries in programming, as the initiative constituted a qualitative addition to the digital transformation programs in Uzbekistan.

It is worth noting that the methodology of the Mohammed bin Rashid Global Initiatives is based on five main axes, including humanitarian and relief aid, health care and disease control, dissemination of education and knowledge, future innovation and leadership, and empowering communities.
