The incident occurred at the end of June last summer and the district court considers the crime to be serious as the threat was significantly intensified with the weapon.
The perpetrator and also the brother of the plaintiff was previously unpunished but is now sentenced to nine months in prison.
He must also pay damages of SEK 15,000 to the sister.
The verdict can be appealed no later than June 30, 2022.
