Among the reasons why the travel ban should be lifted, the petitions indicate the low level of wages in Ukraine, the inability for the male part of the population to support a family without work abroad and go to study for students of foreign universities.
One of the petitions sent received the necessary 25,000 votes for consideration, but was not supported by the President of Ukraine.
He clarified that the restrictions are in force in connection with the martial law introduced in the country, they are provided for by law.
“The abolition of these restrictions is expected to be carried out after the end of the legal regime of martial law,” the website says.
Earlier, Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Viktor Andrusiv proposed to introduce a fee for men leaving the country.
