A man in his 30s is sentenced by the Falun District Court to forensic psychiatric care, after stabbing his father to death with a knife. The man has admitted that he inflicted certain injuries on his father, but has said that it happened in self-defense.
The father was found dead in his home just outside Borlänge in November last year.
Shortly afterwards, the man, who has been in custody ever since, was arrested.
According to the indictment, the man had stabbed the father 19 times with a knife, including in the head and neck.
