Chinanews.com, June 10. According to the US "Overseas Chinese News" report, after the final plan for the redistricting of New York's constituency was finalized, the pattern changed again. The current state Rep. Niu Yulin in the 65th constituency of Chinatown recently announced that she would move to the 10th constituency of the new Congress. Mayor de Blasio competes with a number of Chinese-American candidates.

On the 8th, Niu Yulin made a special trip to Sunset Park, Brooklyn, to visit the Asian Civil Security Team to win the votes of the Chinese on the Eighth Avenue.

Niu Yulin said that she needs the full support of the overseas Chinese in the community to run for Congress this time. Although there are many candidates, she believes that she can stand out with everyone's support.

She shared her views on community safety and more with the Brooklyn Asian American Civil Security Corps.

Liu Baozhi, the captain of the Civil Security Team, and several other team members endorsed Niu Yulin in their personal capacity.

Liu Baozhi described that Niu Yulin has served in the state legislature for many years and is the most experienced and most qualified candidate among the candidates.

State House primary elections will be held on June 28, with early voting starting on the 18th.

In the next few weeks, the Civil Security Team will push the public to vote for Niu Yulin to run for Congress in the Eighth Avenue community.

The redrawn Congressional District 10 includes Tribeca, Greenwich Village, East Village, Lower East Side in Manhattan, Sunset Park and Park Slope in Brooklyn.

According to statistics, about 50% of the constituency is white, and about 22% is Asian, and the majority of Asians are Chinese.
