A man died on a construction site in a forest in Esserts-Blay (Savoie) this Thursday in the middle of the day.
The victim was involved in work carried out by a subcontractor of the company Réseau de Transport d'Electricité (RTE).
He was on board a backhoe operating on a path near a ravine, says France 3 Auvergne Rhône-Alpes.
A police investigation
The machine tipped over and was precipitated about thirty meters lower.
