This list of martyrs was specially distributed to the membership group by Deng Sui, president of the Volunteer Army Research Association of the China Strategy and Management Research Association (son of General Deng Hua, the Volunteer Army commander who personally commanded the Battle of Shangganling during the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea).

　　Deng Qiping and Deng Sui, sons of Deng Shijun, a famous fighting hero of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, are both members of the Association for the Promotion of the Commendation of Chinese Heroes and Martyrs.

In recent years, he has used various channels to find relatives for the martyrs together with the descendants of many volunteer army martyrs and volunteers, and has accompanied the relatives of the martyrs to North Korea many times, so that these descendants of the volunteer army can finally realize their long-cherished wish to worship at the cemetery of their fathers.

　　The information of Martyr Wang Wancheng shows that he is from Anyue, Sichuan.

Mingcheng is the liaison officer of the "I came to find relatives for the martyrs" project in Anyue. He is a retired soldier and officially joined the "I came to find relatives for the martyrs" volunteer service team on July 14, 2021.

　　Mingcheng, born in the 90s, is also a person with a story.

His father died in the Wenchuan earthquake, and the seeds of volunteer service were buried in his heart.

　　In 2016, after retiring from the army, Mingcheng worked as an auxiliary police officer in Anyue, and volunteered in his spare time.

　　"On May 16, 2022, Sun Jiayi sent me a message, hoping that I could help find the relatives of Martyr Wang Wancheng. This martyr was a special hero of our Anyue nationality in the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. He was only 19 years old when he died."

　　The day after receiving the "mission", Mingcheng contacted the local Veterans Affairs Bureau to try to obtain more detailed information.

According to the introduction of Chen Min, a staff member of the Bureau of Veterans Affairs, the Chengdong Commune in Yueyang Town, where Martyr Wang Wancheng lived, no longer exists.

After inquiries, it was found that the hometown of the martyrs is the current group 12 of Dishui Village, Shiqiao Sub-district Office, Anyue County.

I pushed the car for a long time, and found a family to charge the battery for 20 minutes, and rode for a while. If it doesn't work, I have to put the electric car on the side of the road and drive with an umbrella."

　　When Mingcheng arrived at the house of Wang Zufu, the younger brother of Martyr Wang Wancheng, Wang Zufu, who was standing at the door, cried his family out with tears in his eyes, "The troops are here, relatives..."

　　"I came straight after get off work, and I didn't have time to change my camouflage uniform. The old man mistakenly thought I was from the army." Mingcheng said.

　　Wang Zufu took out Wang Wancheng's martyr certificate and the letter sent by the army back then, and cried to Mingcheng: "After my brother Wang Wancheng died, the family is very sad. We only know that he is a martyr, and we don't know anything about the situation in the army. I don't know where to look for my brother's troops..."

　　Mingcheng took the 1983 version of the martyr's card and looked at it again and again, only to find that the name of the martyr's card was written as "Wang Chengwan". I can imagine how difficult it was for them to find their relatives.

　　Mingcheng also told Sun Jiayi that Wang Zu had a wish and hoped that the name on his brother Wang Wancheng's 1983 martyr certificate could be corrected.

　　Wang Wancheng and Zhu Youguang, the heroes of Anti-US and Aid Korea from Anyue, Sichuan, are soldiers of the 8th Company of the 91st Regiment of the 31st Division of the 12th Army of the Volunteer Army.

At about 17:00, there was only one squad leader left on the No. 1 position of the friendly army, and he asked Feng Baozhi, the deputy company commander of our company, for support.

Feng Baozhi immediately sent Wang Wancheng, Zhu Youguang and Li Shifang a three-person battle group to support him.

On the way to the No. 1 position, Li Shifang was seriously injured. Wang Wancheng and Zhu Youguang quickly moved him to the foot of the stone cliff, turned around and rushed to the No. 1 position.

　　When they entered the No. 1 position four or five meters, groups of enemies had already swarmed up on the hill, throwing grenades at them.

They picked up the grenade that had fallen nearby and threw it back.

At this critical moment, Zhu Youguang held two smoking blasting tubes and shouted loudly with the slogan: "Long live the Communist Party! Long live Chairman Mao" and rushed into the enemy group. Wang Wancheng also followed with two blasting tubes and shouted loudly. shouted: "Comrades, go!"
