On day two of the trial of the woman suspected of attempted murder of her eight-year-old son in March this year, the son's father was heard.

Participated in court

The couple had been separated for several years and the boy lived alternately with the parents.

The father told emotionally about how he heard on the phone that something had happened to his son and that he was coming.

- When I turned in with the car, I understood that something really serious had happened, I asked the ambulance staff if he would be able to, the father says.

- I had never in my world been able to believe that this would happen.

Support for the child

During the trial, it also emerged that the social services had been involved on several occasions before the incident, something that SVT Nyheter previously reported on.

Partly in the event of a fire in the woman's apartment but also in an incident when the woman was taken into custody by police affected at E4 a few months before the attempted murder of her son.

According to the father, the son is feeling relatively well today and is back at school and with friends.

The plaintiff's counsel has claimed damages of SEK 150,000 to the boy.
