China's exports last month increased by more than 16% compared to the same month last year, and it seems that recovery has progressed from the effects of the spread of the new coronavirus infection, and logistics disruptions have improved somewhat.

According to last month's trade statistics released by Chinese customs officials on the 9th, the total trade value of exports and imports was $ 537,740 million, an increase of 11.1% compared to the same month last year.

Of this, the export value was 30.85 billion dollars, a positive 16.9%.

In China, exports in April remained at the lowest growth rate since June, due in part to the effects of strict restrictions on going out in Shanghai, the largest economic city.

Last month, conditions such as logistics disruptions and factory shutdowns appear to have improved somewhat.

On the other hand, the import value was 229,490 million dollars, a plus of 4.1%, which is a low growth rate, and it seems that the factor is that the production continued to decrease due to the spread of infection.

Regarding China's trade, the supply of parts to Japan has been delayed and the production of automobile manufacturers has been affected, but the situation at Shanghai Port, which is the world's largest container handling volume due to congestion, has entered this month. There is also data that after the restrictions on going out have been lifted, it has returned to the normal level as usual, and the focus will be on whether China's trade will recover further in the future.
