“Every day up to a hundred killed and up to 500 wounded”: the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced a difficult situation with the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that the Ukrainian side is losing up to 100 people per day.

“The situation at the front is difficult.

We lose every day up to a hundred of our soldiers killed and up to 500 wounded,” Reznikov wrote on Facebook*.

According to him, Russia "has the strength to advance in certain sectors of the front."

In addition, Reznikov stated that, despite the significant volume of arms supplies to Ukraine, these funds are not enough to confront Russian troops.

“We have already received from partners, purchased on the market, manufactured and transferred to the armed forces a significant amount of weapons.

It would be enough for a victorious defense against any army in Europe.

But not from Russia,” the Ukrainian minister wrote.

It should be noted that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky also spoke about the advantage of the Russian side.

In an interview with the Financial Times, he expressed the opinion that Ukraine is inferior to Russia "in terms of technology", and therefore is unable to go on the offensive.

The President of Ukraine also said that the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine could be up to 100 people per day.

A day earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the Ukrainian side was suffering significant losses in manpower, weapons and military equipment.

As stated during the morning briefing on June 8, the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Igor Konashenkov, over the three days preceding this date, only during the liberation of Svyatogorsk in the DPR, the losses of Ukrainian troops amounted to more than 300 nationalists.

During this period, six tanks were also hit, 15 combat vehicles of various types.

Subsequently, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced the growing losses of the Ukrainian side per day.

According to the agency’s briefing dated June 9, over 300 nationalists, seven armored vehicles, two Grad multiple rocket launchers, 12 field artillery guns and mortars, 24 special vehicles and a number of other objects were destroyed as a result of strikes by Russian troops in a day.

It was also noted that among the Ukrainian facilities hit during the day was the training center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in which foreign mercenaries were retrained and coordinated.

Commenting on the situation with the losses of Ukrainian troops, military expert Viktor Litovkin noted that by now people without significant military experience are being accepted into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“They take everyone in a row, indiscriminately.

Whether a person has combat experience or he attributed to himself experience in hostilities - no one can say for sure until he is in battle.

And when they are in battle, it is immediately clear that some of them can do nothing.

That's why they die in the first place.

The fact that there are such heavy losses in Ukraine is undeniable.

Because they have the eighth or even the ninth wave of mobilization, ”the expert said in an interview with RT.

According to Litovkin, in the Ukrainian army there are people who do not have the skills not only to conduct combat operations, but also to own weapons.

The expert stated that this leads to high mortality among such recruits.

Along with this, the expert does not exclude that Ukrainian losses may be higher than the values ​​declared by Kyiv officials.
