　　On June 8, 2022 local time, State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi attended the third "China + Five Central Asian Countries" Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Nur-Sultan.

Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Treuberdi presided over, Turkmenistan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Meredov, Kyrgyzstan's Foreign Minister Kurubayev, Tajikistan's Minister of Transport Ibrohim, and Uzbekistan's Acting Foreign Minister Noro husband attended.

　　Wang Yi said that two years ago, the "China + Five Central Asian Countries" foreign ministers' meeting mechanism came into being.

　　Wang Yi said, at present, the world has entered a new period of turbulence and transformation as the century-old changes, the epidemic of the century and the Ukraine crisis continue to impact the international political, economic and security systems.

In the face of a world with intertwined changes, what kind of Central Asia to build and how to promote China's relations with Central Asian countries are major issues that we must solve.

　　Wang Yi expressed that China and Central Asia are interdependent, sharing safety and security, and have become a community of shared future that marches side by side.

No matter how the international situation changes, China will always firmly support Central Asian countries in safeguarding their sovereignty and independence, follow a development path that suits their national conditions, and build an independent Central Asia; firmly support Central Asian countries in maintaining political security and social stability, and building a peaceful China Asia; firmly support Central Asian countries to accelerate economic development, improve people's well-being, and build a prosperous Central Asia; firmly support Central Asian countries to achieve self-improvement through unity, mutual benefit and win-win results, and build a cooperative Central Asia.

China is willing to uphold the principles of mutual respect, good-neighborliness and friendship, solidarity, mutual benefit and win-win results, strengthen solidarity and coordination with Central Asian countries, and join hands to build a closer China-Central Asia community with a shared future.

　　The second is to create a strong engine for post-epidemic recovery.

High-quality joint construction of the "Belt and Road", and speed up the alignment of development strategies.

Actively promote the natural gas pipeline project, ensure the safe operation of aortas such as the "China-Europe freight train", accelerate the promotion of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Ukraine railway project, and support the construction of the trans-Caspian transportation corridor.

Expand cooperation in emerging fields and jointly build the "Digital Silk Road" and "Green Silk Road".

Explore a new mode of modern agricultural cooperation and maintain the agricultural security of the six countries.

Explore ways to promote financial cooperation and further expand the scale of local currency settlement.

　　The third is to build a solid fortress of regional peace.

Coordinate the maintenance of security in traditional and non-traditional fields, deepen security cooperation in the joint construction of the "Belt and Road", and work together to combat the "three evil forces", drug trafficking, and transnational organized crime.

Continue to unite to fight the epidemic and build multiple lines of defense against the epidemic.

Strengthen cooperation in safety production and disaster management, and improve emergency management capabilities and levels.

Continue to make good use of mechanisms such as Afghanistan's Neighboring Foreign Ministers' Meeting and the "Shanghai Cooperation Organization-Afghanistan Liaison Group".

Promote mutual establishment of cultural centers and promote the positive energy of friendship from generation to generation.

Implement global development initiatives and global security initiatives well, and build a community with a shared future for mankind.

Defend the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, practice genuine multilateralism, carry forward the common values ​​of all mankind, and support countries in safeguarding their core interests.

　　Wang Yi stressed that China's pace of development and revitalization will not stop, its determination to cooperate with foreign countries will not be shaken, and China will continue to be an important contributor to world economic growth and a staunch defender of international fairness and justice.

A developing and prosperous China is not only a blessing to the world, but also brings new opportunities to the development of Central Asian countries.
