Restaurateurs are desperately looking for seasonal workers.
The staff recruitment galley, a consequence of the health crisis, continues for professionals in the sector.
So much so that an establishment, the Goeland 1951, located in Jonville (Manche) published a video, this Tuesday, in which he expresses, with humor, his desperate quest for the ideal candidate.
The film, shot by Caen director Jonathan Perrut, imagines the kidnapping of a young man, then in the middle of a job interview in the restaurant.
The entire Goeland 1951 team took part in the filming and brought their touch of humor to this nearly four-minute film: “We do this to have fun and have a good time with our colleagues.
Humor, laughter, it is completely our trademark and totally representative of our state of mind”, explained to France 3 Normandy Pierre Jeanclaude, the manager of the restaurant.
Seen more than 10,000 times in a few hours
Mission successful for the team, since the video has been viewed more than 10,000 times, according to our colleagues, since it was posted on Facebook.
And the establishment is counting on this original communication to attract candidates: “It's still more fun than a classic recruitment poster that doesn't attract anyone's attention.

This video is not the first of the restaurant, and not the last either, since a next one is expected.
It will be inspired by the
Prince of Bel Air
, the series with Will Smith, and should be called “Le Pince du Val de Saire”.
