Feigin made such a statement on February 4 on the air of the TV channel "Ukraine".

In particular, he accused RT of interfering in elections in France and Germany and of "spreading fakes" about French President Emmanuel Macron.

After that, RT filed a lawsuit for the protection of business reputation, demanding that the information disseminated by Feigin be recognized as untrue, post a refutation and pay compensation for damage to business reputation in the amount of 300 thousand rubles.

On April 19, the Moscow Arbitration Court satisfied RT's demands, but the decision did not enter into force, as Feigin's lawyer filed an appeal against the court's decision.

On June 8, the Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal issued a ruling in which it recognized as lawful and justified the decision of the court of first instance to recognize the information disseminated by Feigin as untrue, post a refutation and recover compensation for reputational damage from him.
