“A fire breaks out on the Iklarand fishing trawler 8 km southwest of Vladivostok in the waters of the Amur Bay,” a spokesman for emergency services told RIA Novosti.
According to the interlocutor of the agency, 13 crew members were evacuated from the burning trawler to passing ships.
The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
In 2021, a Russian trawler caught fire in the port of Kirkenes in northern Norway.
The fire broke out on the ship "Tamango", on board of which there were 22 crew members.
