Rättvik's former center-right municipal councilor Inge Östlund has grown up in Centermyllan with both father and grandfather active within the party.

In 2016, Inge Östlund chose to leave politics but chose to make a comeback before the 2018 election - then as Sweden Democrat.

- The Center Party has become a Stockholm party, an 08 party, which does not care about the countryside but focuses on other things instead, he says.

"A fucking mistake somewhere"

According to Land lantbruk's voter survey from earlier this year, 28 percent of farmers would vote for the Sweden Democrats and 26 percent for the Center Party - and C support in the group has plummeted from 38 percent in 2014. The loss does not surprise Inge Östlund, who believes it is at the national level. The center failed.

- There are certainly many within the party who want to pursue a good rural policy, but they do not have a majority in the party.

You have no confidence in the management in the Center, I lost that ten years ago.

I know many who are politically active in the municipal party in the Center Party but at the same time do not vote for the Center Party in the parliamentary elections.

Then it's a fucking mistake somewhere, says Inge Östlund.
