The German Society for Nutrition recommended eating a handful (full of the palm of the hand) of nuts daily due to its great health benefits.

The association explained that nuts such as hazelnuts, walnuts and almonds are rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. These fatty acids have a positive effect on cholesterol levels, and maintain the health of blood vessels, thus reducing the risk of atherosclerosis and coronary heart disease.

In addition to healthy fats, nuts also contain a lot of secondary plant matter, fiber, vitamins and minerals, and are good sources of protein.

As a result, it helps to feel full for a long time, and thus prevents intense hunger attacks, which helps in losing weight and enjoying fitness.

Nuts also provide the body with energy and enhance focus.

In order to keep nuts fresh for as long as possible, it is best to store them cool, dark, dry and well packed in a net or wooden box, as this provides them with good ventilation.
