The Seine-et-Marne police had to face an extraordinary scene on Saturday June 4.

Participants in a wedding that had just taken place at the town hall of Pontault-Combault stopped on the highway to dance, reports BFMTV.

The facts occurred around 4 p.m. on the Francilienne.

The wedding procession then consisted of about thirty vehicles.

The engines were cut and the guests got out to dance, which justified the intervention of the police.

A suspect arrested

During it, one of the guests would have tried to overthrow an agent.

The 25-year-old suspect reportedly refused to submit to the check.

He was then arrested and taken into custody.

Subjected to a breathalyzer, this man from Champigny-sur-Marne showed 1.5 grams of alcohol per liter of blood.

He will have to answer for several traffic offenses as well as refusal to comply before a criminal court next November.
