The South Korean and US military authorities, watching North Korea's movements, fired the same missile yesterday in response to the North Korean missile launch the day before (the 5th), and today sent a warning message from the sky.

South Korean stealth fighters and 20 American fighters were sortieing over the West Sea.

Korean Air Force's F-15K is at the forefront, followed by South Korean and American fighters across the West Sea.

It is a combined aerial force demonstration of the ROK and US Air Forces targeting North Korea by forming an attack squadron to overwhelm the enemy's threat.

The Korean Air Force dispatched 16 elite fighter jets, including the F-35A, F-15K, and KF-16, and the US Air Force participated in 4 F-16s.

In particular, five F-35A with excellent stealth function were equipped with precision-guided bombs and went into flight, which is interpreted as showing off that they can fly through North Korea's air defense system and hit the command center.

After South Korea and the United States fired a surface-to-surface missile yesterday in response to North Korea's missile launch, today it is a warning with air power.

The level of remarks on the diplomatic line also increased.

The South Korea-U.S. vice foreign ministers met in Seoul hinted that military action as well as additional sanctions would follow if North Korea went ahead with its nuclear test.

[Wendy Sherman/Deputy Secretary of State: There will be a swift and decisive response to such a (nuclear) test.]

[Cho Hyun-dong / 1st Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs: I would like to state clearly that additional measures in terms of the ROK-US defense posture must also be considered.]

As an additional measure, the deployment of US strategic assets, which North Korea is extremely reluctant to, is likely to be deployed on the Korean Peninsula.

It is expected that B-1B strategic bombers will enter the airspace of the Korean Peninsula, and Nimitz-class nuclear carriers and amphibious assault ships will deploy into the East Sea or West Sea to pressure North Korea.

The vice ministers of the Republic of Korea and the United States also discussed the issue of early re-operation of the extended deterrence strategy consultative body agreed to at the summit last month.
