The minister revealed, during the Federal National Council session, which was held yesterday, that 97% of the citizens working in the private sector (within the category of skilled jobs) are classified at the highest professional levels, indicating that there is an increase in the rates of wages for citizens of skilled workers, with an average of approximately 14 thousand dirhams, an increase of 40% compared to the average wages for skilled workers in the labor market.

While the minister stressed that the cost of hiring non-citizens in the private sector is now greater than the cost of hiring nationals, stressing that the ministry’s previous experiences proved weakness in the outputs of employment fairs, as they were not in accordance with the aspirations and desired goals.

He added: "An integrated system has been prepared and developed to train new national graduates within the (Khebra) program, which aims to provide vocational and practical training for national graduates from various disciplines, in cooperation with private sector establishments and semi-governmental institutions."

He explained that the Nafes program revolves around bridging the experience gap by helping the private sector provide training opportunities for recent graduates by benefiting from the support of “Nafis”, as the “On-the-job training” program provides salary support for citizens wishing to train in the private sector in training programs during training programs. Al-Awar confirmed that there is a remarkable growth in the number of companies registered with the ministry, with a growth rate of 5% since the beginning of 2022, pointing out that this growth will create new job opportunities for citizens in the labor market.

He said: "The system of legislation and decisions recently adopted by the state, regarding the localization of jobs in the private sector, had a significant impact on reducing the cost of attracting and employing citizens in some jobs, especially skilled ones, as the cost of hiring non-nationals in the private sector has become, today, greater. of the cost of employing citizens.
