The prosecutor has until Friday at 12.00 to find sufficient evidence for a possible prosecution.
The prosecutor's office confirms that a number of people have been brought in for questioning and notified of suspicion of a crime involving aggravated arson in Trollhättan, Thursday evening.
The two men who were requested to be detained during the weekend have been released during the day.
But the suspicion of aggravated arson remains against them both.
In total, it burned in six different places on Thursday night last week and over 30 cars were destroyed.
