In front of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the new ministers in the UAE government took the constitutional oath yesterday, following the announcement of a cabinet reshuffle in the portfolio education.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, wished the ministers success in their tasks in developing and modernizing the vital education sector in line with the progress of the country at various levels and in line with the requirements of the current stage and the needs of the future to build a conscious generation capable of modern skills and proud of its national identity.

His Highness said, "The interest in the quality of education and the quality of its outcomes stems from our belief that it is the way to the future and is the main source of development that provides it with qualified national competencies to serve the nation."

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also stressed the need to develop work tools in proportion to the requirements of each stage, and to harness all government efforts to support vital files. His Highness said: "We are keen to develop government work tools to meet the requirements of each stage... and we harness all efforts to support vital files.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said in a tweet on Twitter yesterday: "Today I witnessed with my brother the President of the State, may God protect him, the oath taking of three ministers as part of the recent change in the education sector.

Our directives to them are to be present in the field, apply the best international educational models, and work to consolidate our national identity and culture.

The swearing-in ceremony was attended by H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, and Lt. General H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, and H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President The Cabinet, Minister of Presidential Affairs, and His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The constitutional oath was taken by Dr. Ahmed Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education, Sarah bint Youssef Al Amiri, Minister of State for Public Education and Advanced Technology, and Sarah bint Awad Musallam, Minister of State for Early Education.
