After the large leak on the main water line outside Nyköping, which occurred the night before Thursday, the residents of Nyköping and Oxelösund are forced to boil the water to get rid of any bacteria.
The first samples have now been analyzed and look good, according to Madeleine Jansson, VA manager, Nyköping municipality.
The second sample is currently being analyzed and if those samples also look good, the cooking recommendations can be lifted.
- When we have received two samples approved for each other, then we can start drinking our water as usual, says Madeleine Jansson.
New test results are expected tomorrow.
