“At 06:00 Nur-Sultan time (03:00 Moscow time), polling stations in Washington, New York and Ottawa closed,” the agency said in a statement.

According to official data, the turnout at 65 foreign polling stations was 72.95%.

Earlier, the Central Commission for the Referendum of Kazakhstan stated that the turnout for voting on amendments to the Constitution after the closure of all polling stations on the territory of the republic amounted to 68.44%.

Violations of public order during the constitutional referendum in Kazakhstan were not registered.
