“We are grateful to all the state authorities of Sri Lanka who took part in the prompt settlement of the situation,” the ministry said in a statement.
On June 3, it was reported that the High Commercial Court of Colombo issued a restraining order, according to which the Aeroflot aircraft could not leave Sri Lanka.
On June 6, a Sri Lankan court suspended the order.
Later, an Airbus A330 flew from Colombo to Moscow.
