His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, announced yesterday the launch of the first educational transformation projects "Generational Schools" after the recent structural changes approved by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, for the education sector. .

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid said in a tweet on his Twitter page that "Generation Schools" is a model among different models that will be launched, as they run private educational institutions, recognized for their efficiency, some government schools.

His Highness added: "We are targeting 14,000 students within this model," stressing that "the generations schools will launch with national curricula supervised by the School Education Foundation, such as Arabic language and Islamic education, in addition to international curricula in science and mathematics supervised by private educational institutions, distinguished by their competence."

His Highness said, "The government will cover the student's costs in full, adding that there are steps that will follow this step to develop our schools and education."

The Emirates Foundation for School Education announced the development and launch of a new model for public schools in the country, which represents a new stage and a pioneering step in supporting the educational system, which is "Generation Schools", which was approved by the Council of Ministers to develop the first episode of the public education sector.

She said that the launch of "generational schools" reflects the great importance the UAE attaches to the education sector, based on its great role in the process of development and development, and within the plans to develop the educational system in the country, which aims to provide more options, opportunities and educational models for our students, and to qualify a leading generation that is future-makers. As support and development of the education sector is a continuous and continuous process.

The Generation Schools will provide a unique educational experience in partnership with a number of operators and providers of educational services in the private sector with specialization and experience in the field of management and the application of educational curricula in accordance with international best practices.

The Al-Ajyal Schools System model establishes the Emirati values ​​system, belonging and national identity, and adopts more advanced learning outcomes that combine the approved national curricula in the Arabic language, Islamic education, moral education and social studies under the direct supervision of the Emirates Foundation for School Education and international curricula in scientific subjects, such as mathematics, science, and others. In order to enhance the country’s position within global indicators, through an educational system that meets the requirements of development and the needs of the labor market, and to involve the community in developing the teaching and learning process, and to enable the private sector to participate in managing the educational process and improving its outcomes.

The model of the generations schools system will be applied to students of the first cycle (grades: from first to fourth grade), as part of the first phase of its application, in 10 different schools under the full supervision of the Emirates Foundation for School Education, where the Foundation aims to apply it to 28 different schools, within three Years.

Additional classes will be provided for this module as current students progress on their educational journey.

While the curricula of the Arabic language, Islamic education, moral education and social studies established by the Ministry of Education for the third and fourth grades will continue to be offered without change, provided that they are taught by Emirati teachers in order to enhance the national identity and societal values.

Al-Amiri revealed that partnership contracts will be signed with parents within the new schools in order to build greater cooperation between the family and the school in the process of evaluating the educational level of students.

She said: "We have complete confidence in everyone's awareness of the importance of keeping pace with the rapid developments in the educational field globally to be in the forefront and always among the first centers, which goes in parallel with efforts to enhance the Emirati identity and its originality by working to devote it in the minds of students and instilling the values ​​of loyalty and belonging in them. Through the new school system, the first phase of its implementation includes 10 schools, and the goal is to reach 28 schools within three years, while the government will support students enrolled in Al-Ajial schools, and bear all fees and operating expenses.
