Six days before the first round of the legislative elections, several ministers of the government of Elisabeth Borne are threatened.

If they lose, they will also have to give up their seat in government.

This concerns in particular the Prime Minister, but also the Minister Delegate for Europe, Clément Beaune, and the Minister for Ecological Transition, Amélie de Montchalin.

D-6 before the first round of the legislative elections.

Ministers in office are warned, this is not the time to weaken.

Half of the government of Elisabeth Borne, including the Prime Minister herself, is presented to the votes of the voters.

The rule is simple: the defeated will cease to be ministers the moment they lose.

The battle promises to be difficult for at least six of them.

A relative of Emmanuel Macron, is particularly threatened.

Clément Beaune in difficulty

An Ifop poll for the

Journal du Dimanche

gives Clément Beaune, beaten in the seventh district of Paris.

Facing the Minister Delegate for Europe, the rebellious candidate, Caroline Mecary, would take the lead in the first round and narrowly win the second.

La Nupes can also hope to bring down two other important figures of macronie: the Minister for Ecological Transition, Amélie de Montchalin, in Essonne, and the boss of the presidential party and new Minister of the Civil Service, Stanislas Guerini, in Paris .

But it is undoubtedly the Secretary of State for the Sea, Justine Benin, who will have the most difficulty in keeping her post.

She is in the running in Guadeloupe, in a constituency where rebellious France is clearly in a position of strength.

Damien Abad not guaranteed to win

To remain Minister of Health, Brigitte Bourguignon will have to fight to win against the National Rally in Pas-de-Calais.

Finally, weakened by accusations of rape, the former leader of the Republican deputies, Damien Abad, is not guaranteed to win in the department of Ain.

The Minister of Solidarity confronts a candidate from his former party, determined to make him regret having chosen to join the government.
