Thanks to this success, the men of TJ Parker, winners of the first two matches at the Astroballe, won this best-of-five series by three wins to nil.

Asvel, double title holder (2019 and 2021), will defend their crown against the winner of the other semi-final between Monaco and Pau-Orthez, opposed on Tuesday (8:30 p.m.) in Béarn.

The Roca Team leads the series 2 wins to 0.

The JDA only tied for a quarter on Tuesday at the Palais des sports in Dijon (19-18 one minute from the end).

ASVEL took their opponent by the throat from the start of the 2nd quarter with a lead of up to 16 points (41-25, 16th).

Despite a slight start from Nenad Markovic's men, Villeurbanne carried by the vista of Elie Okobo, precious off the bench, did not release the grip until the second quarter ended with a scathing 28-10 which allowed him to go to the locker room with a 20 pts advantage (49-29).

Dijon paid for its indiscipline with numerous loss of balls and gaping spaces left to the Villeurbannais who were pleased with an avalanche of long-distance shots.

Witness this series of three award-winning shots in three minutes straddling the end of the first quarter and the start of the second.

Without forcing, Asvel kept up the pace with the gap still hovering around +20 points, but the Dijon team rebelled and were able to limit the damage (64-49, 30th).

For the JDA, the step was too high against the Asvel armada which, in addition to its defensive solidity, was more successful in shooting (45% against 40).
