Sweden's largest dance competition was held in Eskilstuna last weekend.

Nine dancers from Athletic Dance in Ronneby received a total of 18 gold and four silver medals from the championships.

In the SM class Adult, 19-year-old Alma Elibo-Mattisson from Ronneby took home medals in all her competitions - five individual gold and one silver.

She also took another five golds together with her duo partner Nora Ernestrand from Karlskrona.

- You have absolutely trained and tried to spice up the competition.

Seeing that the training gives results is really great fun, says Alma Elibo-Mattisson.

Medals also in the junior classes

They have both been dancing since they were little, but have been competing for the last four or five years.

They compete in what is called Artistic Ballroom, where the dances cha-cha, samba, jive, salsa, bachata and merengue are included.

- We are both winners and have a lot of motivation.

It is a great driving force that it has gone so well, says Nora Ernestrand.

Other gold for Ronneby's dance school was taken in the children's classes, then by 10-year-old Wilma Pålsson in both the Latin dances and in the disco dance.

In disco she also won in duo junior together with dance partner Hanna Thernström.
