“Thanks to the active industrial growth of recent years, we have the opportunity to reduce our dependence on imports,” he wrote in his Telegram channel. 

The mayor of the capital added that many sectors of the Russian industry are faced with the task of working on import substitution in the face of sanctions and difficulties with logistics. 

According to Sobyanin, more than three thousand enterprises are employed in the manufacturing industry in Moscow and the Moscow Region.

“The capital produces robots, 3D printers, elevators, engine parts, building materials, designs aircraft, launch vehicles and much more,” he said.

Earlier, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia Vasily Shpak said that the department keeps records of critical information infrastructure facilities necessary for import substitution at Russian industrial enterprises.
