Ships of the Baltic Fleet began exercises to search for enemy submarines

This was reported in the Russian Defense Ministry.

“In the course of going to sea, the crews of the corvettes and the patrol ship in the sea ranges began to work out the task of a tactical exercise to search for a mock enemy submarine,” RIA Novosti reported.

The department said that the ships will also conduct a series of joint exercises with Ka-27PL anti-submarine helicopters.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry informed that exercises of the Pacific Fleet began in the Pacific Ocean with the involvement of more than 40 ships and vessels, as well as 20 aircraft and helicopters.

As Newinform reported, the Pacific Fleet will have at its disposal three submarines by the end of this year.
