The leader of the National Rally, Marine Le Pen, called this Sunday, to "defeat" in the legislative elections "the curse" of a "rotten system", by dismissing back to back Emmanuel Macron and Jean-Luc Mélenchon, the " two breasts of the deconstruction of the nation”.

From her stronghold of Hénin-Beaumont, in Pas-de-Calais, she attacked her adversaries: "There is still time to prevent Macron from having all the powers" and to "defeat the curse of an unfair voting system, which maintains a worm-eaten system, which does not hold by its results but by the fear maintained", the "fear of change" and "the fear of the people", urged the presidential finalist during of his first campaign rally for the legislative elections.

Only eight deputies in 2017

In the previous election, in 2017, the National Rally (ex-National Front) had only succeeded in electing eight deputies, although it collected nearly 34% of the votes in the second round of the presidential election for a month and half earlier.

“This electoral system is a shame and (…) you must mobilize to correct its harmful and anti-democratic effects”, she launched in front of some 300 activists gathered in an atmosphere of fair at the François-Mitterrand space of the town.

She thus urged her voters, more inclined to abstain, to go to the polls for the first round on June 12.

“Not only go vote, but give me 100 to 150 deputies.

Help me help you,” she begged.

Marine Le Pen especially attacked Emmanuel Macron and Jean-Luc Mélenchon, who are in her eyes "the two breasts of the destruction of the nation that protects".

The president "doesn't care" about "almost empty" carts and "thrive on promises he will never keep", while the Insoumis leads a "coalition of malfeasance" (La Nupes, editor's note) and has "contributed to be elected” Emmanuel Macron.
