“We don’t really know how many we will be”.

The organizers of "the caterpillar that restarts" are well in the dark.

On Sunday, however, they hope to break the record for the largest caterpillar in the world at the end of the Art Rock festival which is being held this weekend in Saint-Brieuc.

Departure is scheduled for 3 p.m. in front of the bar Le Fût chantant.

The challenge seems largely feasible since the current human caterpillar record only reports 390 participants.

The whole will be led by a "Nadine", the name given to the leader of the caterpillar, who lives in Rennes.

President of the Macumba Open Air Festival, Arnaud is a regular at the music of the 80s and 90s which he used to broadcast on the campsite of Hellfest, an extreme music festival in Clisson (Loire-Atlantique).

A real specialist.

The idea was born in the minds of the owners of the bar in downtown Briochin.

Accustomed to receiving the same DJs baptized Chuck and Maurice at each edition of Art Rock, the bistro generally likes to end the festive weekend with a little improvised caterpillar.

When one evening, at the corner of the counter, the idea came to beat this absolute record… Will it be?

On the event's Facebook page, 1,500 people declared themselves to be "interested".
